We have a crisis in our hands. And the daily headlines have to remind us that everyday. Jobs are cut, businesses are in brink of collapse, ordinary folks losing their life earnings, and terrorists just have to add to the foray. Just watch the news and it would not be hard for a end-of-world theorist to convince you that doomsday is neigh.

Wm text me just yesterday that his company got shut and he's looking for a job. It's disturbing news, given his ace performance in his studying days. It got me worried about job security since we've got a stark reminder from our bosses a-la a state union-like address about weaning markets not too long ago.

Christmas is round the corner. For those of us who were not arbitraging bankers, let's hope Santa will pack some hope and joy for us in his sleigh (that's provided he's not retrenched either...)
